Mangalore, Jun 27:
"The reason for my resignation is personal and I am not moving to any other party," B Nagaraj Shetty told media persons on Monday June 27 after chief minister Yeddyurappa met him at his residence. The CM visited him after offering prayers at Shree Kshetra Dharmastala in the morning.

Shetty added that Yeddyurappa asked him to meet him again in Bangalore after fulfilling the last rites of his mother who passed away recently.

However, Yeddyurappa declined to comment on the issue of Nagaraj Shetty’s resignation. On MSEZ row, he said that a decision will be taken on the cancellation of 1,400 acres of land notified in Bajpe, Kalavaaru and surrounding areas for the second phase work of MSEZ and order will be passed immediately. Notification of land in the first phase is a closed chapter, he said.

On Deve Gowda’s dharna in front of his residence in Bangalore, Yeddyurappa said that since the former Prime Minister knew that he would be visiting Dharmasthala, no importance could be given to his ‘dharna’. This kind of move does not bring him any respect, he commented. He added that he will not comment on Deve Gowda and his family anymore.

The CM said that Rs 160 crore will be released for the development of Shree Kukke Subrahmanya Kshetra in three phases. In the first phase, Rs 80 crore will be released and the development works will be completed in 5 years, he said. The CM condoled the death of 15 people in a road accident near Tumkur on Monday and announced a compensation of Rs 1 lac to the kin of each victim.

THIS HAPPENS ONLY IN BJP PARTY. IF ANYONE RESIGNS THE HIGH COMMAND DOES NOT ACCEPTS THE RESIGNATION. THIS IS POLICY OF BJP. BJP INSISTS ONLY CONGRES AND JDS PEOPLE TO RESIGN. BUT WHEN IT COMES TO BJP, THEN THE RULES ARE DIFFERENT.

What unfortunate of the bloody political leaders and CM? These guys are NOT having time to hear the problem of tax payers and NO money to pay for handicapped people. If their local leader is resigned CM must call him to his office and must talk. Not using our tax money to roam around and make some dealings for his CM chair.

I agree and appriciate your concern for green Kudla.Inspite of galopping development taking place here,it is imperative that every one should have strive for conserving green.Without that Kudla is nothing. As rightly said by you every corner here is a village and should be preserved. Thanks to Sri Vishwesh Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar mutt Udupi for his concerted effort for the state government taking a favourable decision for denotifying 1400 acres of green land notified for II phase of MSEZ expansion.
Yedyurappa deserves complements on this count & for respecting people's voice.

I appreciate the CM for cancellation of 1400 acres land notified. This will save of Mangalore culture and beautiful land scape. Mangalore is small city / town . Its like village in evry corner of city. Development of MSEZ is to be done in remote areas were barren land is available without destroying the green belt forest & polluted the nearby envirnment. Good news for Mangaloreans.. Bad news for Corporate lobies..for acquiring cheap land.

It seems money offered by yeddirappa is not enough to shetty for withdrawing his resignation. Lage raho munnabhai...ravana rajya namma karnataka.
