Mangaluru: CSI Christha Mahima Church Manipura wins first ever ‘Protestants Got Talent’

Udupi, Apr 11: As CSI Kanthi Church is celebrating 140th year of celebration the Kanthi Church youth had organised Protestant Got Talent 2023 (PGT), a talent show on Easter Sunday at CSI Kanthi Church grounds on April 9.

CSI Christha Mahima Church Manipura bagged the top prize while the second spot was won by CSI Christha Jyothi Church Korangapady, Udupi.

During the valedictory ceremony Daijiworld media founder Walter Nandalike was present as chief guest.

Earlier, the competition started with the inaugural ceremony where the presbyter in-charge Dr Ebnezar Jathanna, bishop of Southern diocese Hemachandra Kumar along with three esteemed judges Stany Bela, Joshal D'Souza and Sanjay Rodrigues and the president of youth committee of Kanthi Church were present.

The competition was held in a spectacular way as there were 26 churches all over Mangalore and Udupi who had come to participate in this show PGT. All the participants were very enthusiastic and performed very well. The judges appreciated each one's performance and ultimately, two winners were declared.

A huge gathering was present to witness the grand competition.

    My heartiest congratulations to CSI Christha Mahima Church, Manipura for winning the first ever 'Protestants Got Talent'. They deserved it as talent was unbeatable. Christa Jyothi got second place. It was well organized and kudos to the organizers.
