Social Gaming to Yeild $1 Billion to Facebook

San Francisco, Jul 2: Kevin Ryan, leading entrepreneur and former chief executive of DoubleClick in an interview to a news agency predicted that Facebook will generate an estimated revenue of $1 billion from social gaming this year.
 
Kevin predicted the estimated revenue with his brother Sean Ryan's help. Sean became the director of social gaming partnerships of Facebook in early 2011.

However, Facebook had refused to comment on the prediction. It is a private company and does not have to disclose such financial information.

The company will be going  public next year with a very high initial public offering (IPO) given that its valuation has been predicted to top $100 billion.
