Mangalore: Jamiyyatul Falah Distributes Scholarship to Students

Mangalore, Jul 6: State award-winning NGO Jamiyyatul Falah (JF) distributed scholarship to eligible students at JF community centre, Kankanady here recently.

A sum of Rs 2.5 lac was distributed under JF's Student Support Scheme (SSS) among 120 students across the twin districts.

Speaking on the occasion chief guest Abdul Rauf Puttige, founder of TRF asked students and parents to keep updating their knowledge by attending training sessions held by JF. 

He advised youth to join voluntary organizations for improving themselves and appreciated JF's efforts in the field of education and in producing soft skill trainers in the community.

The guest of honour at the programme former president of JF Jeddah, Shabih Ahmed kazi urged parents and students to utilize the opportunity provided by JF.

General secretary Khaleel Ahmed briefed about JF's activities and contributions to the community since its establishment in the year 2000.  JF's Student Support Scheme has helped more than 2000 students during this period, he said.

Mohammad Anwar, JCI national trainer with his team held a full day training session on life skills for the students and parents prior to the programme.
