Bantwala, Jun 11: In the wake of the state government's implementation of the 'Shakti Yojana' allowing for free travel for women in KSRTC buses, a celebration was held on Sunday on BC Road on behalf of the Bantwala Vidhana Sabha Constituency by Congress workers.

Former minister B Ramanatha Rai, who spoke on this occasion, said that one of the five guarantees announced by the Congress before the elections has been successfully implemented. "Four more guarantees will be implemented soon," he said.

He said that Karnataka has become a model state in the country today.
