Udupi: Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh marks decade of service

Udupi, Jun 12: Fr Monsignor Ferdinand Gonsalves, vicar general of Udupi Diocese, highlighted the significant contributions made by Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh at the national level in serving the church and society.

Fr Gonsalves inaugurated the decennial year celebration programs of Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh at Kakkunje of Ambagilu on Sunday.

Philip D'Costa Koni Basrur, the chief guest, unveiled the special decennial memorial edition, while Antony Wilson released the Catholic Sabha directory for 2023-24.

Fr Ferdinand also released the book titled "Aamche Malgade," written by retired principal and esteemed author Dr Gerald Pinto.

Dr Neri Cornelio and Allwyn Quadros were honored during the event.

Allwyn Quadros extended a warm welcome to the attendees, and secretary Olivia D'Mello proposed a vote of thanks. Caroline Menezes compered the event.
