Udupi, Jun 12: District in-charge minister Laxmi Hebbalkar issued a stern warning to officials, emphasizing that strict action would be taken against those who cause delays in the implementation of government facilities and display indiscipline at work.

Hebbalkar addressed the district-level meeting of officials at the taluk office on Monday, June 12.

Laxmi stated, "A new government has assumed office in Karnataka. It is the responsibility of officials to ensure that the government's pro-people programs reach the people without any delays. Any officials found negligent will face severe consequences."

Hebbalkar instructed officials to prepare beneficiary details to facilitate the smooth implementation of key government schemes such as Annabhagya, Grihalaxmi, Grihajyoti, Yuvanidhi, and Shakti schemes.

Laxmi also urged the relocation of anganwadi centers currently operating in rented buildings to new, owned premises. Additionally, she emphasized the need to provide compensation to dairy farmers who have suffered losses due to lumpy skin disease affecting their cattle.
