Udupi district in-charge minister Laxmi Hebbalkar visits boys' hostel

Udupi, June 12: Women’s and child welfare, disabled and senior citizens empowerment minister and Udupi district in-charge minister Laxmi Hebbalkar visited the government boys' hostel at Udupi Doddanagudde on Sunday and conducted an inspection.

She directed officials to take extra initiative towards maintaining the health and hygiene of children as also ensuring that there are no lapses or issues and to provide basic necessities to children properly.

Vidhana Parishat member Manjunath Bhandary, deputy commissioner Kurma Rao M, district panchayat chief executive Prasanna H, district SP Akshay M Hakay, additional DC Veena B N, IAS officer under training Yathish, Kundapura assistant divisional officer Rashmi, women and children development department deputy director Krishnappa and others were present.
