Mangaluru: Arrest made in copper cable plate theft case

Mangaluru, Jun 12: The Kadri police station made an arrest on Monday, June 12 in the case of the theft of copper cable plates from Shiva Deepa flat in city.

The accused, Jayanth (28), a resident of Alike grama, Vitla, Bantwal, was apprehended under crime No. 42/2023 IPC section 379.

Jayanth was arrested in the morning from Pumpwell.

During the interrogation, he confessed to the crime and was subsequently produced in court.
