Udupi, Jun 16: MLA Yashpal Suvarna along with city municipality officials and members, Police visited Manipal tiger circle as per the complaint raised by public on June 15. Yashpal instructed the officials to take strict action against vehicle parking on National Highway, unscientifically installation of traffic signals, inadequate passenger accommodation, and street vendors on foot path disturbing vehicle traffic.

He asked Manipal police and city municipality to seek help from auto, taxi and bus association for construction of bus stop, foot paths, installation of street light and take measures, for free vehicle traffic, cleanliness and availability of necessary items. He also instructed police official to take action to control criminal activities in Manipal.

Municipal commissioner Ramesh Naik, AEE Yashvanth Prabhu, sub-inspector Khadar, city municipality members, Manjunath Manipal, Kalpana Sudhama, prominent leader, Prashanth Bhat Perampalli, and others were present in the location.
