Mumbai, Jun 27: Prabhat Colony Sarvajanika Ganeshotsava Mandala, Santacruz east held a programme to distribute stationery to Guru Narayana night school students at the school premises on June 24.

Former president and advisor of Billavara association school committee, Bannanje Ravindra Ameen who presided over the programme said that Billavara association has been running the night school with the guidance of elders in order to provide education to children who are deprived of education. “While we provide educational aid to children, it is worth commending the Ganeshotsava mandali for having donated stationary to students,” he said. Ganeshotava mandala president Shekar J Salian conveyed his wishes to the students.

School headmaster Mallikarjuna Badigera said that the students of the school have achieved 100% results five times and made a record. “All the students have passed the tenth board examination in 2023 coming out first in Mumbai night high schools and brought a name for the school.”

Ganeshotsava mandala vice president Deepak Kanerakar, Milind Mahamunnara Samit Kadam were felicitated by Mallikarjuna Badigera. Students Meenakshi Poojary, Divya Guthedar and Nandini Harijan sang a prayer. Teachers Mohini Poojary, Vimala Poojary and non teaching staff Namita Suvarna helped for the success of the programme. Teacher Siddarama Dashamane welcomed and compered the programme. Teacher Hema Gowda rendered a vote of thanks.
