Kasargod: Man carrying Rs 41.78 lac cash by bus without documents detained

Kasargod, Jul 5: Manjeshwar excise department staff took into custody a man who was carrying Rs 41,78,000 by bus without valid documents. The undocumented cash was also seized.

The man detained is identified as Prakash Vinayak Shetty, a resident of Honnavar.

He was travelling by a KSRTC bus plying from Mangaluru to Kasargod and was said to be carrying the cash in a bag.

The officials handed over the custody of the accused and the cash to Manjeshwar station police.

    I wonder how come Police came to this fellow who is travelling in bus of him?Any hint?OR simple border check?Is also doubtful and risky .
