Mumbai: Jayashreekrishna Parisara Premi Samithi holds meeting to form committees

Mumbai, Jul 11: Jayashreekrishna Parisara Prema Samithi held a meeting at Bantara Bhavan Annexe hall, Kurla east on July 8. Samithi president L V Ameen who presided over the meeting spoke about the issues such as drainage in Udupi and Mangaluru. “The stagnant water in the rainy season obstructs traffic. The officials do not permit the medium class of people to construct houses due to lack of road connectivity. The committee needs to think over it. We support industries for the growth of both the districts,” he said.

Committee founder Jayakrishna Shetty inaugurated the meeting. Vice president Jagadish Adhikari, honorary treasurer Tulasidas Ameen were on the dais.

Honorary chief secretary Surendra Salian welcomed. Vice president Nityananda D Kotian gave a key note address. District vice president Jagadish Adhikari said that the committee has conducted several service oriented works. “Highly educated people and entrepreneurs have become its members,” he said.

Meera Dahanu Bunts honorary president Dr Virar Shanker Shetty congratulated committee founder Thonse Jayakrishna Shetty and his team for their selfless service.

Bantara Sangha Mumbai honorary chief secretary and president of the collection of donations, Dr R K Shetty said that social workers in the villages will be identified and admitted in the committee.

Committee vice president, Bantara Sangha Mumbai higher education project president CA I R Shetty said that the members will be briefed to function within the government rules and regulations.

Maharashtra Kannadiga Kalavidara Parishat president Dr Surendra Kumar Hegde said that suitable decisions should be taken about the responsibility of the members.

Karnataka Vishwakarma association president Sadananda Acharya called on members to support industries.

Bhandary Seva Samiti president Prabhaker Bhandary said that Mangaluru airport should be named after the late George Fernandes.

Akhila Bharatha Jaina Sangha president Muniraj Jain called on forming the committee at village level and bring about the future projects.

Vokkaligara Sangha Maharashtra president Jithendra Gowda said that the districts should be industrialized.

Bombay Bunts Association president CA Surendra Shetty supported the idea of naming the Mangaluru airport after the late George Fernandes.

Mogaveera Patrike editor Ashok Suvarna said that the Mogaveera community is always prepared to support the development of the districts.

Billavara Association president Harish G Ameen and Billavara Chamber of Commerce and Industries president N T Poojary assured their support.

Office bearers of Parisara Premi committee, Devadiga Sangha, Thia Samaja, Bombay Bunts association, Karnataka Vishwakarma association and Safalya Seva Sangha were present.

Journalist Dayasagar Chowta, Karnataka Sangha Andheri honorary president Harry Sequeira, Vidyavahini Sabha honorary chief secretary Chitrapu K M Kotian, Mogaveera Mahajan Seva Sangha Bhagwadi‘s Bhasker Kanchan, Bhandary Seva Samithi’s Rakesh Bhandary, journalist Vani Prasad Karkera and others were present.
