London, Aug 10: It was about the seventh time that English fast bowler James Anderson had removed Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar in the test matches and second time in ongoing series.
Anderson had got Tendulkar out leg in the second innings of the Trent Bridge Test. The English bowler has denied suggestions that he has established a sort of control over Sachin.
He said, “A lot of people are starting to mention it, but I genuinely don’t think I have anything over him."
“It is really nice to keep getting him out though and hopefully it will continue,” he added.
Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan has taken more Tendulkar's test wickets (eight) than Anderson (seven).
Anderson said that his self-confidence and belief in his own abilities has made him such a good bowler.
