Udupi: Office, logo launch of ‘Puttige Paryaya 2024’ to be held on Sep 16

Udupi, Sep 14: "The office inauguration and logo launch of Puttige Paryaya 2024 will be held on Saturday September 16," said Raghupati Bhat, working president of welcome committee.

Addressing a press meet, Raghupati Bhat said, "Committees and sub committees have been formed and meetings and preparations are underway. The office inauguration and logo launch of the Paryaya 2024 will be held on September 16 by Dr Veerendra Heggade, honorary president of the welcome committee. The preparations are underway for Vishwa Paryaya - Geetha Paryaya. The Koti Geetha Lokayajna movement is in progress from past one year and thousands of devotees are taking part in this movement from all over the world. We are expecting to spend around Rs 5 crore for this Paryaya. We will meet and request for the required funds for the Paryaya to be provided by the state and central government. The government had provided special fund for the previous Paryayas too. The devotees from all over the world are expected to come and witness this Paryaya. Swamiji wishes to create an Udupi corridor. This project will be taken up during the two-year tenure of Swmaij's Paryaya.”

Mattar Rathnakar Hegde, vice president Ranjan Kalkura, and treasurer Jayakar Shetty Indrali, convener were present.
