Colombo, Aug 14: When Sri Lanka started its ODI campaign against Australia on its own soil after a spectacular performance in T20, cricket fans expected Australia to be demolished here too. Moreover, after Ricky Ponting's exit as captain, Australia has not played many matches. But the Aussies led by Michael Clark won the first ODI comfortably.

T20 was a different ball game, and under a different captain too. Cameroon White failed to take Australia to a winning start in the T20, as Clark has done in ODI.

The second ODI is now under way in  Hambantota. Sri Lanka have scored 40 in 10 overs with the loss of captain Dilshan's wicket.
