Mumbai: Gadinada Kannada Rajyotsava award to be presented to Goregaon Karnataka Sangha

Mumbai, Nov 6: Gadinada Sahitya Samskruthika Academy of the federation of pro Kannada organizations in Kerala was founded by former president of Dakshina Kannada, Kannada Sahitya Parishat S Pradeep Kumar Kalkura. “The academy will be presenting the Gadinada Kannada Rajyotsava award to Goregaon Karnataka Sangha identifying their service in Mumbai,” said the academy organizers.

Gadinada Sahitya Samskruthika Academy of Kerala is working relentlessly for the growth of Kannada language, culture and art in Kerala. The Gadinda Kannada Rajyotsava programme will be held at Kasargod under the cooperation of various pro Kannada organizations on November 19.

Kannadigas living in various districts of Kerala will participate in it. Janapada, Yakshagana and other art forms of Karnataka will be displayed during the event. Goregaon Karnataka Sangha, Mumbai is one among them. The award will be presented to its president Nithyananda D Kotian.

The organizers have requested everybody to participate in the programme and support the pro Kannada activities being conducted outside Karnataka.
