No one can predict anything in advance. Only God can save us! It's not logical to blame on the Airport for this type of human errors resulting in accidents. Even the Mangalore Air crash also an human error and not anything else.

Gulf Air Flight which was landing in Heavy rains and strong winds at least came to stop 10 meters off the airway on the side.
If this happens in Mangalore where also side winds are not uncommon GOD alone can save the passengers from utter disaster.
BECAUSE AT THE MIDDLE OF MANGALORE RUNWAY THERE IS NOT EVEN 10 METERS SPACE LEFT ON THE SIDES OF THE RUNWAY !
Let us hope they extend the runway not only in its length but also breadth.
