The increase in crime rate in Mangalore is due to increased consumerism, materialism, and increasing rich poor divide topped up with easy money flow from the land, drug, and mining mafia and what not. More so there is heavy influx of all sorts of people from various parts of India without any check whatsover. So, Mangalore should be no more considered a safe place but put on par with metro cities like Mumbai and Mangalore. This is a wakeup call for the laid back and relaxed Mangloreans!!

It is surprise - these people are only 2 people - where is the rest of the thieves group.

Good job Police - but you have to interrogate more. Anyway when they come to court they get bail and their address and names are wrong. Did the Police check their relatives address to verify?

Mangalore used to be one of the safest places on earth so far. I think we need to figure out why this change now all of a sudden, killings, robbery, cheating etc., To begin with, we have to find out what these two handsome guys from Bangalore doing in Mangalore and why. This may sound very silly but may be there is a clue here.
