Mangaluru, Dec 11: In a devastating incident, Sachin Saju, a 19-year-old nursing student hailing from Alleppey, Kerala, and enrolled in a private college in Mangaluru, took his own life by hanging in his hostel room on December 8, between 9 am and 1 pm.
Saju, a first-year nursing student, had recently joined the college on November 30. Over the past two days, he had been absent from classes, citing health and depression concerns. Tragically, on December 8, when his roommates were away, he chose to end his own life.
The Mangaluru rural police have registered a case, initiating an investigation into the circumstances surrounding this heartbreaking incident.
