Mangaluru: Moolathva World Award 2023 to be conferred on Padma Shri Phoolbasan Bayi Yadav

Mangaluru, Dec 12: Moolathva Foundation Charitable Trust, which functions under “Naane Neenu Neene Naanu” ideology, is doing social activities to find solutions to one another’s problems. It has held various programmes like group prayers, various information camps that are useful to public, swacch Bharath campaign, free medical camps, educational aid for eligible financially poor children, medical help for financially poor families and aid for marriages.

Moolthva World award was formed eight years ago with the intention of searching inspirational powers that give themselves completely to the society through their selfless service.

In 2015, Akshara Santa Harekala Hajabba of Mangaluru, In 2016, Padma Shri Subhashini Mistry of West Bengal, in 2017, Padma Shri Sindhu Thayi of Pune, Maharashtra, in 2018, Autoraja of Bengaluru, in 2019 Prakash Amte and Mandakini Amte couple of Nagpur in Maharashtra and in 2020 Ravi Katapady were given the Moolathva Vishwa Prashasti for their selfless service to society. In 2021, the award was bestowed on Padma Shri Sukri Bommagowda (Sukri Ajji) of Halakki community of Ankola Karwar, who is achiever of Janapada music and social fighter. The eighth year award was given to Padma Shri Dr Sunita Krishnan of Telangana, who is the founder of Prajwala, the biggest organization that fights against sexual harassment.

It is decided to give the ninth award of 2023 to Padma Shri Phoolbasan Bayi Yadav of Chhattisgarh. She is the renowned social worker of India. She founded Bamleshwari Janahit organization. She is doing various social and financial activities through this organization. At present she has united more than eight lac women and works for their development selflessly since 25 years. It is decided to hold this award giving ceremony at 10 am on December 24 at the auditorium of Sharada Vidyalaya Kodialbail.

Prakash Moolathva, founder of Moolathva Charitable trust, Kalpana Kotian, trustee Moolathva charitable trust, Shainy, trustee Moolathva charitable trust, Akshata Kadri, convener, Moolathva Vishwa Prashasti 2023, Lakshmeesha P Kotian, trustee Moolathva charitable trust and Praveen Udupi, member of selection committee were present in the press conference.
