Udupi: New media sticker with QR code released

Udupi, Dec 12: New media sticker with QR code for the vehicle of all registered media personals was released on December 12 by SP Dr K Arun in Press Club, Udupi.

On the occasion SP Dr K Arun stated that, “Media, the as a forth wing of the Constitution should do the work of reviewing the activities of three wings of constitution, Legislature, Executive and Judiciary. By doing this the media will help in smooth functioning of democracy.”

“Fake reporters functioning in the name of reporters caused a lot of trouble to police department. Use of media sticker using modern technology by reporters is a great work, implementing the same in every district will help the police department,” said SP Dr K Arun.

Nazeer Poliya, secretary, Udupi district working journalist association, welcomed the gathering. Umesh Marpalli, treasurer proposed the vote of thanks and Deepak Jain, joint secretary Silver Jubilee Committee proceeded the event.

Rajesh Shetty Alevoor, president Udupi district working journalist association, Mohammad Shareef, Convener Silver Jubilee Committee, Arun Kumar Shiroor, member of Indian Federation of Working Journalist National Committee and Jayakar Suvarna, Secretary Silver Jubilee Committee were present.
