Udupi: CM, DyCM, other dignitaries invited for Paryaya festival

Udupi, Dec 13: A delegation from the Paryaya committee, along with the district MLA, recently paid visits to key dignitaries, extending invitations for the Paryaya Festival 2024 of Udupi Puttige Math scheduled to take place in Udupi in January 2024.

The executive president and former MLA of Udupi, K Raghupati Bhat, along with office bearers of the Udupi Paryaya Festival Committee, visited chief minister Siddaramaiah at Suvarna Vidhan Soudha, Belagavi. They handed over the official invitation, inviting him to grace the event with his presence.

The delegation further visited several other prominent figures, including assembly speaker U T Khader, deputy chief minister D K Shivakumar, opposition leader R Ashok, home minister Dr G Parameshwar, Kannada and culture minister Shivaraj Tangadagi, and MLC B K Hariprasad. They presented invitations on behalf of the Udupi citizens and invited these dignitaries to participate in the upcoming festival.

Former minister and MLA V Sunil Kumar, along with Yashpal Suvarna, Suresh Shetty Gurme, Kiran Kumar Kodgi, Gururaj Shetty Gantihole, and leaders of the Paryaya committee were also present during these visits.
