Sullia: Coronavirus scare – Screening begins in border areas

Sullia, Dec 19: The health department began preventive screening at inter-district and inter-state borders of Dakshina Kannada district in the wake of coronavirus scare.

Passenger health checks are being carried out at the Sampaje check post that lies between Sullia and Madikeri on Mani-Mysuru highway.

Infections of variant of coronavirus is increasing day by day in Kerala. As most of the vehicles that traverse on this route are from Kerala, health checks are being done.

All hospitals in the district are also gearing up to deal with the possible calamity that may arise.
