'Ferrari Ki Sawaari' to Release April 27, 2012

New Delhi, Sep 25 (IANS): Actor Sharman Joshi's solo hero film "Ferrari Ki Sawaari" will hit the screens April 27 next year.

Usually filmmakers avoid releasing their films during Indian Premier League (IPL) matches, but Vidhu Vinod Chopra has decided otherwise.

Directed by Rajesh Mapuskar, "Ferrari Ki Sawaari" will see Sharman romancing Deepika Padukone on screen.

"Yes, we are releasing in midst of IPL. 'Ferrari Ki Sawaari' is one of the most awaited films of the year and we have decided on 27th April, 2012 to be the release date for us," Mapuskar said in a statement.

Last seen in "Allah Ke Bandey", "Ferrari Ki Sawaari" is Sharman's first solo hero film in his over a decade long acting career. The film has largely been shot on locations like busy roads and amidst live audiences.

The actor has previously been part of successful multistarrers "3 Idiots", "Life In A Metro", "Golmaal" and "Rang De Basanti".
