Mangaluru, Apr 24: District BJP MP Candidate Capt Brijesh Chowta paid tribute to the former defense minister and a driving force behind the Konkan Railway, the late George Fernandes, at the Bejai church cemetery on Wednesday, April 24.

Reflecting on his inspiration, Capt Brijesh Chowta remarked, "During the 50th Republic Day parade in the year 2000, when I was an NCC cadet, I had the opportunity to closely observe then-prime minister Atal Bihari Vajapayee and the late defense minister, George Fernandes. Their dedication to serving the nation and society deeply inspired me."

He continued, "George Fernandes, a proud son of Tulunadu, is renowned for his simplicity. Every youngster looks up to him, and his contributions to Dakshina Kannada are immense. I am committed to following in his footsteps to further develop the Dakshina Kannada district."

Why this party is confusing public when it comes to it's policies regarding the minorities? Their leaders talk one thing and their fringe organizations talk another.
