Udupi, May 3: In a remarkable display of endurance and skill, Michael Sequeira, the celebrated athlete from Barkur, has added yet another feather to his illustrious cap. Competing in the recently concluded National Master Athletic Championship held in Mumbai from April 26 to 28, the veteran sprinter showcased his unwavering passion for track sports, securing impressive finishes across multiple events.
At the tender age of 65, Michael's performance at the national meet left spectators in awe, as he clinched the 4th position in both the 100m and 400m races, while securing the 5th spot in the fiercely contested 200m event.
However, his crowning achievement came when he anchored the Maharashtra team in the 4x400m relay, where they clinched the coveted silver medal, adding yet another national accolade to Michael's already decorated career.
