Aashka Goradia founded Renee Cosmetics in 2020 in partnership with her college mates Ashutosh Valani and Priyank Shah. The company made a turnover of Rs 100 crore within two years of its formation. The company expects revenue to reach Rs 400 crore in 2024. Aashka oversees the marketing and communications of the organization.
The company is headquartered in Ahmedabad. Its turnover was 25 million dollars in 2023. However, the valuation of the company was 100 million dollars. The company markets more than 200 products through online sites like Flipkart, Amazon, Myntra, and Nykaa. In addition, the products are also sold in more than 650 stores across India.
Before choosing to become an entrepreneur, Goradia began her TV career in 2002 with the show Achanak 37 Saal Baad. She then went on to feature in soaps like Akela and Sindoor Tere Naam Ka on Zee TV. She also acted in Virrudh on Sony TV and Mere Apne on 9X.
Goradia was popular for her portrayal of negative characters. After a while, she also participated in reality shows. She gave up acting in 2019 and entered the business world.
