BJP won amidst challenges; focus now on development projects in Byndoor: Raghavendra

Kundapura, Jun 21: Despite numerous challenges, the BJP has returned to power in the country, securing Narendra Modi's third term as prime minister. The victory is particularly evident in Byndur, where 63% of voters supported the BJP.

"This victory is a testament to the relentless efforts of our party workers," said Shivamogga MP B Y Raghavendra, speaking at Jayashree Hall, Hemmadi. He emphasised that forthcoming projects like the Kollur corridor and Gangolli Bridge, noting, "We are committed to the comprehensive development of the Devi Sannidhi through the Kollur corridor project."

Acknowledging the efforts of local activists, Byndoor MLA Gururaj Gantihole remarked, "Despite initial doubts, our workers have consistently propelled us towards victory." He expressed optimism about future developments along the Kollur corridor.

 

Presiding over the event, BJP district president Kishore Kumar Kundapura highlighted the significance of the recent electoral successes, stating, "This victory strengthens our resolve for future elections. Recognising the hard work of our workers is paramount."

In a somber moment, tributes were paid to Bhanuprakash, a former Parishad member who recently passed away.
