Entrepreneur Sathish Kumar Bajal conferred with 49th Aryabhata award

Bengaluru, Jun 27: The 49th annual Aryabhata International award was conferred on entrepreneur and social worker Sathish Kumar Bajal for his contribution in social service and cultural field. In addition, 60 people including eminent personalities and achievers of overseas countries were presented the award.

The programme was inaugurated by retired judge of Karnataka High court justice Dr H B Prabhakara Shastri. President of Kannada Sahitya Parishad Nadoja Dr Mahesh Joshi and renowned movie director Dr S Narayan were the chief guests. The programme was presided over by Dr H L N Rao, founder of Aryabhat organization.

Sathish Kumar Bajal is the only person who provides service to weaker section of people in Dammam of Saudi Arabia 24x7. He always offers himself for social service. His heart melts for NRIs who are in trouble in Arab countries. He has won the hearts and minds of people by responding to the medical treatment of sick people and encouraging education of brilliant students.

Sathish Kumar Bajal was conferred with Vishwa Manya Prashasti 2024 (Global Man 2024 award) in the 17th Vishwa Kannada Sammelana that was held in Dammam of Saudi Arabia. He is also awarded with Masa Man of the Year – 2019 award, Corona Warrior: 2022-23 award by Mangaluru Association of Saudi Arabia, Dammam and Saudi Billawas Riyadh's Aapadbaandava award. He has also encouraged Kannada and Tulu culture in Saudi Arabia by releasing Tulu movie for the first time in Saudi Arabia and premier show also.

The Aryabhata International award was conferred on June 23 at Ravindra Kala Kshethra of the city to 60 achievers including C K Veeresh Kumar of law and justice department, Rakshith Shetty, director, actor and producer of Sandalwood and journalist Y S L Swamy.
