Mumbai, Jul 7: Ratna R Shetty, a senior member of the prestigious Shirva Nadibettu family from Udupi district, passed away on Friday, Jul 5, at the age of 89 due to old age. She breathed her last at her residence in Ashirvad Housing Society, Seven Bungalows, Andheri West, Mumbai.
Ratna R Shetty was the wife of the late Ramachandra Shetty Karnire and was respected for her active involvement in all family service activities, earning the admiration and respect of everyone.
She is survived by her sons Subhash Shetty and Rajesh Shetty, daughter Sushma Shetty, and several grandchildren, along with numerous relatives and friends. The members and heads of the Shirva Nadibettu family have expressed their condolences on her demise.
