London, Nov 4 (IANS): Actor Eddie Murphy has laughed off reports saying that he has bought an island in the Bahamas.

The 50-year-old says the story has been embellished by local tour guides.

"If you do (take) one of those boat tours... they always tell people, 'And that island is Eddie Murphy's right there'. And people always go, 'I saw your island!' I don't have no island," contactmusic.com quoted him as saying.
