Udupi: Man arrested after evading court for 18 years

Udupi, Aug 5: In connection with a robbery case under the jurisdiction of Hiriyadka police station, the police have arrested Suresh Purush, who had been evading court appearances for about 18 years.

Under the guidance of Hiriyadka police station sub-inspectors Manjunath Marabada and Kasturi Kukanur, staff members Gururaj Dayanand Prabhu and Krishna Poojary apprehended the accused.

The police found the accused at a coffee estate in Mudigere, Chikmagalur, and have now presented him to the court.
