Bengaluru, Aug 6: In further continuation of his campaign against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on the two major scams of MUDA sites and Maharshi Valmiki Scheduled Tribes Development Corporation, BJP opposition leader R Ashoka has posted his second set of questions titled, ‘AnswerMadiSiddaramaiah’, in the X social media platform.

However, Ashoka has posed only 3 questions on the MUDA scam and has 6 questions on the Valmiki scam.

The first set of 3 questions on MUDA scam are:

1. In your 2013 election affidavit, you have hidden details of your wife’s properties and thereby given false information. But in the 2018 election affidavit, you have mentioned the market value of the property as Rs 5 lakh. How was it possible that you realised the possession of property after 5 years?
2. Now, after the details of the scam have become public, you are offering to return the sites if Rs 63 crore is given (as compensation). How did the value appreciate to Rs 63 crore in 2024? Is it part of scheme of growing potatoes to reap gold?
3. When Urban Development Department has issued orders against giving developed sites on 50:50 ratio, how is it that MUDA Chairman Marigowda opened the doors of the scam in violation of the orders? Which is the power centre behind this?

The questions on Valmiki Corporation:

1. The Principal Secretary/Secretary of each department is conducting monthly review meetings of their respective departments. When this review was being carried out, didn’t the concerned principal secretary bring the irregularity to your notice?
2. When the Chief Secretary holds monthly department-wise review meetings of various departments, wasn’t the irregularities in the Valmiki Corporation come to light? Or is it a case of cat drinking milk believing it will go unnoticed?
3. Even if Departmental review meetings or the one held by the Chief Secretary is forgotten, wasn’t the Finance Department notice the scam in the pre-budget meeting, especially when the Chief Minister himself is in charge of Finance portfolio?
4. You are in power by espousing AHINDA. When the funds supposed to be used for the development of STs were looted, didn’t you have the least bit of conscience?
5. The funds meant for bringing the people in the bottom rungs of society are diverted in Telangana Lok Sabha polls for liquor and hawala deals, was that your social justice?
6. You came to power by levelling “false complaints” against BJP government, what kind of campaign we should launch against to you for diversion of funds meant for dalits for liquor, jewellery shops, RTGS, PhonePe and GooglePe for settlement?
