Udupi: KPCC Minority panel member Dr Sheikh Vahid distributes fruits to hospital patients

Udupi, Aug 6: Dr Sheikh Vahid Udupi, general secretary of the KPCC Minority Committee, distributed fruits to patients at the District Hospital in Udupi to mark the birth anniversary of Imran Pratap Gari, a state assembly member and president of the National Congress Minority.

During the event, Dr Vahid stated, "It is our duty to respond to patients in distress. Many patients at the District Government Hospital are receiving treatment under severe conditions. I wish them all a speedy recovery and inquire about their health."

He also met with district surgeon Dr Ashok and promised to provide any necessary assistance.

A total of 100 patients at the district hospital received fruits during the occasion.

Local figures present included Sadhik, businessmen Sumanth and Royce Fernandes, Taluk Land Justice Board member Riyaz Palli, Udyava grama panchayat member Wilson Sequeira, and Abdul Munaf.
