Mumbai, Nov 11: Now that Saif  Ali Khan is crowned as the Nawab of Pataudi, the media is back on track with the issue regarding his wedlock with Kareena Kapoor. Bebo had earlier told media persons that she would tie the knot in 2012, after the release of Saif’s home production ‘Agent Vinod’. However, due to a delay in the release of the movie, the wedding too is likely to be postponed.

However, Saif’s mother Sharmila Tagore has confirmed that the wedding is ‘definitely on’ and that her son is planning to marry Kareena very soon. Saif himself confirmed the news saying, “Kareena and I will definitely get married by early next year. We plan to get married in February 2012 after Agent Vinod releases, but if the film’s release gets delayed we will still get married by March.” He further added, “We won’t postpone the marriage beyond that any more.”

Speaking about his bride-to-be, he said, “Kareena is a wonderful girl and we are extremely compatible. My family and she have always got along well. We share the same values in life, love each other completely and I want to spend more time with her. I am looking forward to the marriage now.”

It is learnt that the wedding is more likely to be held in the Pataudi Palace. Sources say that the wedding will be a traditional one, attended by the couple’s friends and family.
