Mandya, Aug 11: After completing the 10-day Mysuru Chalo Padayatra on MUDA scam with BJP, JD(S) leader and Union Minister H D Kumaraswamy joined farmers in Mandya district in planting paddy saplings

The paddy saplings were planted in the paddy fields of the farmer Lakshman in Sithapur village of Pandavapura taluk in Mandya district.

Kumaraswamy’s son and JD(S) Yuva Morcha leader Nikhil also joined the paddy sapling planting.

It may be recalled that Kumaraswamy has been grooming his son Nikhil and has been pushing him in all the JD(S) political activities to cultivate the image of a farmer and party leader.

Nikhil, who had contested in the Mandya Lok Sabha election in 2019 had lost against the BJP-backed independent Sumalatha Ambarish and also in the Ramanagara assembly constituency after his mother Anita had opted out of contest in favour of the son.
