Puttur, Aug 22: The 46th Foundation Day was celebrated on Wednesday, August 21 at the Puttur Branch of Bharath Bank. Retired professor of Vijaya College Mulky was the chief guest. He flagged off the celebration by lighting the lamp and cutting the cake.
Speaking on the occasion, Govinda Bhat said, “In the modern world banking sector is very important. Public are sick of service provided by government banks. However, the smiling service offered by Puttur Bharath Bank and its staff the customers of the bank never go to any other bank. Let their service be available to all public of Puttur and entrepreneurs. Let the bank open more branches.”
Senior entrepreneur and owner of Padma Solar, Padmanabha Shetty said, “I am customer of this bank as all the managers and staff of this bank are my close friends. They always offer service with a smile and with minimum time. This is the example for the development of the bank.”
Organizer, entrepreneur, president of Moortedarara Seva Sahakara Sangha, Kumbr, Puttur, R C Narayana said, “This bank has got several customers within a brief period. The main reason is the courteous behaviour of the bank staff with the customers. I recall late Jaya C Suvarna. It will not be wrong if I say that this bank is built on his direction.”
