Mumbai, Nov 19: A party held for the success of actor Ranbir Kapoor’s recent release ‘Rockstar’ at a famous club was busted by the cops late on Thursday November 17.

It is learnt that Ranbir, along with filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, was partying the night away with several close friends of his including the who’s who of the industry. Apparently the party got way too happening that the cops decided to call it off asking them to observe the deadlines.

Also, sources say that there was also an altercation that happened between one of Ranbir’s bodyguards and the police and apparently the guard was beaten up as well, though there is no confirmation about this.

Sources said that the party was on in full swing and it was way past deadlines. So, the cops came and entered the venue asking them to close the party. According to sources, among those attending the bash were Ranbir’s dad actor Rishi Kapoor and good friend Hakim Aalim.

Ranbir, when contacted, confirmed that the cops had indeed turned up and asked them to wind up the do, but denied rumours of any altercation. “It’s all rubbish. We overstayed there, they came and asked us to leave. That was it,” said Ranbir.
