Udupi, Sep 10: "Do not waste time on trival politics," Ramesh Kanchan, president Udupi Block Congress has warned the BJP MLAs.
Ramesh Kanchan, has advised MLAs to conduct self-examination regarding the cases filed against Udupi MLA and BJP workers related to the obstruction of the Kundapura Pramukh’s award. He emphasized that instead of engaging in trivial politics, legislators should focus on constructive measures.
Kanchan highlighted that the Congress Party holds teachers in high regard and shows exceptional concern for them, recognizing their role in shaping a better future with the light of knowledge. He criticized the MLAs for not intervening to prevent the unlawful and uncivil protests organized under the pretext of respecting teachers. As members of the legislative assembly, they should have taken steps to stop such behaviour.
Kanchan noted that political figures who rise to prominence through uncivil behaviour and have numerous police cases against them should not be considered exceptional. He urged the current representatives, who are recognized as leaders in the educational sector, to build good relations with the government, focus on the development of their constituency, and work diligently to address Udupi's pressing issues through thoughtful planning and development initiatives.
