Puttur: Truck catches fire on Shiradi Ghat, no injuries reported

Puttur, Sep 12: A canter truck traveling from Mangaluru to Bengaluru caught fire accidentally at a road bend near Maranahalli village on NH 75 in Shiradi Ghat. The driver jumped out before the vehicle was engulfed in flames.

Despite efforts by other vehicle drivers to help, the front portion of the truck was completely burned. Although Sakleshpur fire service personnel arrived and extinguished the fire, the vehicle was almost entirely destroyed.

A case has been registered at the rural police station.
