Udupi: Felicitation of newly elected CMC president Prabhakar Poojary and launch of IPTV service

Udupi, Sep 15: Felicitation to the newly elected president of Udupi City municipality Prabhakar Poojary and the launching of IPTV services by Karavali cable operators was held on Saturday Sep 14 in Udupi.

Satyajith Surathkal, Harish Karkera, Harish Shetty Mangaluru of BBNL, BBNL technical team heads Naveen and Sadik were present on the occasion.

Harish Karkera, of Wizard Communication speaking on the occasion said "As we are growing with modernization there is a need to upgrade ourselves. currently we are providing services in the cable tv, internet and additionally we need to join our hands in spreading this new technology-based IPTV service".

Satyajith Surathkal, of Shakthi Sat vision Surathkal said "Today we are introducing a new technology. BBNL network is providing internet service through cable operators in these areas. We had requested for this new technology to fight the competition of other big players. It is a great happiness for all of us that Prabhakar Poojary has been elected as the president of Udupi CMC. Earlier Kiran Kumar, a cable operator had also been elected as the president of Udupi CMC. We are hoping for support from the Udupi CMC in the upcoming days".

Prabhakar Poojary, the newly elected president of Udupi City municipality was felicitated on the occasion in behalf of the association.

On receiving the felicitation Prabhakar Poojary thanked all the cable operators for the felicitation and extended his support for any works related to the operators.
