Bantwal, Sep 16: In a show of communal harmony, Hindus in Maani Junction and Kodaje distributed sweets, ice cream, and bottled water to Muslims celebrating Eid Milad.

During the Eid Milad procession at Maani Junction, Hindu youths donned saffron scarves and handed out sweets, ice cream, and bottled water to Muslim leaders and children.

In Kodaje, Hindus continued the gesture by distributing sweets to participants of the Eid Milad parade and extending festival greetings with sweet boxes. This act of goodwill follows a similar gesture from the Muslim community during last week's Ganesha Chaturthi procession, highlighting ongoing efforts to foster unity between the communities.
