Karkala: Party will never endure compromise politics, says Congress leader Rakshith Shivaram

Karkala, Sep 16: KPCC General Secretary Rakshith Shivaram declared, "The party will never tolerate compromise politics," stressing the urgent need to rebuild from the grassroots level with a focus on strengthening the party’s foundation. This was Shivaram’s first visit to Karkala since being appointed in-charge of the Karkala Assembly constituency.

During his visit, Shivaram met with office-bearers and key leaders from the Karkala and Hebri Block Congress Committees. He gathered insights on the party organisation and listened to the grievances of leaders and workers, discussing ways to bolster the party's organizational structure.

D R Raju, vice-president of the State Backward Classes Committee, spoke about the party’s growth and strengthening. Congress leader Muniyal Uday Kumar Shetty also addressed the gathering, sharing updates on party activities.

The meeting was attended by prominent Congress figures, including Surendra Shetty, Hebri Block president Chandrashekhar Bayari, Karkala Block president Sadashiva Devadiga, and senior leader Prabhakar Bangera.

Congress spokesperson Shubhada Rao welcomed the attendees and compered the event.
