Puttur: St Philomena PU College bagges runners-up trophy in taluk level kabaddi tournament

Puttur, Sep 27: Boys' team of St Philomena P.U.College, Puttur bagged the runners-up trophy in the taluk level kabaddi tournament held at Kombettu Stadium on September 23 organized by the physical education directors association, Mangaluru, the tournament saw exceptional performances from the team, particularly Mokshith B (II ECBA) and Muhammad Sawad K (I HEPS), who have been selected to represent the college at the District level Kabaddi tournament. This prestigious event will take place at Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College, Ujire on September 27.

Under the expert guidance of physical education directors Elias Pinto, Rajesh Moolya and the coach Mohammad Habeeb the team demonstrated remarkable skill and team work.

The correspondent, Fr Lawrence Mascarenhas, Mai De Deus Educational institutions, and principal, Fr Ashok Rayan Crasta, congratulated the following students:
