Udupi, Aug 22: Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), an institution of eminence deemed to be university, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Shri Sode Vadiraja Matha Educational Institutions (SSVMEI) on August 22, at the Manipal campus. This strategic partnership marks a significant milestone in fostering collaborative excellence and strengthening the educational ecosystem in Karnataka.
The SSVMEI delegation was led by Dr Radhakrishna S Aithal, CEO, SODE Group of Educational Institutions, Udupi, accompanied by key institutional leaders, including Rathnakumar, secretary, Sri Sode Vadiraja Mutt Education Trust, Udupi; Dr Thirumaleshwar Bhat, principal, SMVITM, Bantakal, Udupi; Dr Ravindra J, HoD-Physics, SMVITM Bantakal, Udupi; Dr Sudarshan Rao, dean (IQAC); and Dr Sachin Bhat, Dean (R&C).
The MAHE delegation was represented by distinguished leadership, including Dr H S Ballal, pro chancellor, MAHE; Dr P Giridhar Kini, registrar, MAHE Dr Narayana Sabhahit, pro vice chancellor - Technology & Science, MAHE; Dr Harish Kumar, corporate relations director, MAHE; and Bharath Kumar, PR director, MAHE.
The partnership is considered to create synergies across multiple academic domains, leveraging the strengths of both institutions to enhance educational delivery, research collaboration, and student exchange opportunities. This strategic alliance reflects both institutions' commitment to innovation, academic excellence, and their shared vision of transforming higher education in India.
