Udupi, Nov 22: The annual Eucharistic procession of the Udupi Catholic diocese will take place on Sunday, November 24, at the Milagres Cathedral, Kallianpur.
The event will commence at 3 pm with the recitation of the Rosary, followed by a solemn Holy Mass at 3:30 pm led by the bishop of Udupi diocese, Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo.
After the Mass, the Eucharist will be carried in an open vehicle procession from Milagres Cathedral to Mount Rosary Church, Santhekatte, where it will be offered public veneration.
At the Mount Rosary Church premises, a discourse on the Word of God will be delivered by Fr Jensil Alva, after which the bishop will bless the congregation with the Eucharist.
Over 60 clergy members and more than 3,000 Christian faithful are expected to participate in this spiritual gathering, according to a press release from Fr Denis D’Sa, public relations officer of the Udupi diocese.
