Beltangady: PU student hospitalised after consuming poison dies

Beltangady, Nov 27: A 17-year-old student, Hrishvi, from Kodi in Mittabagilu village, passed away on November 26 after allegedly consuming poison in an attempt to end her life.

She succumbed despite receiving medical treatment at a hospital.

Hrishvi, a second-year PU commerce student at a local college, had reportedly consumed poison a few days ago for unknown reasons. She was immediately admitted to a hospital in Mangaluru.

She is survived by her parents and a brother.
