Kasargod: Udaya Higher Secondary School celebrates Community Helpers Day

Kasargod, Nov 29: Udaya Higher Secondary School organized Community Helpers Day on November 29, in the school auditorium. The event was presented by the enthusiastic students of LKG and UKG, highlighting the invaluable contributions of community helpers to society.

The programme commenced with an impressive welcome speech by Sheikh Mohammad Aleem (UKG), setting the tone for the event. The young comperes, Fathima Wafiya and Zayaan Abdulla (both from UKG), kept the audience engaged with their confident hosting.

Principal Jerald Ivan Crasta, in his address, emphasized the importance of such programs in building confidence among students and improving their English communication skills.

Campus director, Fr Santhosh D’Souza, inspired the gathering by reminding everyone to remain grateful to those who serve the community in various capacities.

The students, trained and guided by Veena D’Souza and Vijaya D’Souza, showcased vibrant performances, portraying the roles of community helpers with enthusiasm and creativity. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Nafeesathul Fahma (LKG).

The programme was a memorable experience for the young students and the audience, fostering appreciation for the individuals who play vital roles in our daily lives.
