Mangaluru: SACAIM 2024 inaugurated at St Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology

Mangaluru, Dec 6: The inaugural function of SACAIM 2024, an international conference on advanced IT, engineering, and management, organized by the postgraduate department of the School of Information Science and Technology, St Aloysius (Deemed to be University) Institute of Management and Information Technology (AIMIT), was held with an atmosphere of academic enthusiasm and intellectual exchange.

The program began with an invocation, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries, symbolizing the dissemination of knowledge and wisdom.

Dr Jeevan Pinto introduced the chief guest, Prof Dr Thalakkottur Lazar Mathew, senior advisor at MAHE Manipal, to the gathering. Prof Mathew addressed the attendees with insightful thoughts, inspiring them to embrace challenges and foster creativity in their academic and professional pursuits.

Fr Dr Kiran Cotha SJ, director of AIMIT, highlighted the importance of conferences like SACAIM in fostering intellectual growth and elevating the university and the nation through fruitful research. He urged students to make the most of the sessions and learn from industry leaders.

Fr Dr Praveen Martis SJ, vice chancellor of St Aloysius Deemed-to-be University, delivered the presidential address. Fr Martis commended the efforts of the organizing team and emphasized the role of AIMIT in shaping the future of its students while supporting their journey toward excellence.

Dr Hemalatha N welcomed the gathering, and Mithun K Manoj compered the event. Dr Santhosh B, one of the conveners, proposed the vote of thanks.
